2025 Summer Minis Recap

Summer minis are always one of my favorite parts of the year, and 2025 did not disappoint. From golden light to wildflowers, sandy toes to creekside giggles, this season was packed with moments that remind me why I love photographing families so much.

Every location brought its own magic:

The Creek
Bare feet, cool water, and adventurous kiddos who never minded splashing a little. It’s always the most carefree backdrop for summer.

Sunflowers
Bright, bold, and golden as the sun itself. This year’s sunflower minis were pure joy, like stepping right into a painting.

The Beach
Wind in the hair, sand between the toes, and sunsets that felt like they were made just for us. Beach minis are always a favorite for families who love those relaxed, coastal vibes.

The Park
Playful, classic, and full of green. This year’s park minis gave us space to run, twirl, and soak up the beauty of a Wisconsin summer evening.

The Garden
Soft blooms, winding paths, and a little touch of whimsy. The garden minis had such a dreamy, timeless feel.

Field + Forest
Tall grass, golden light, and quiet little corners that made every family look like they were part of a storybook.

Each of these sessions reminded me just how much I love lifestyle photography. It lets families relax, be themselves, and create memories that feel natural and true. I’m so grateful for the families who came out this year, trusted me with their memories, and let me document the love, laughter, and sometimes the chaos that makes each family beautifully unique.
